About Atasehir Finance Center of Istanbul
Due to the growing trend of Turkey’s economy in recent years and the increase in per capita income and prosperity, this country has left the group of third world countries and joined the group of developing countries. The continuation of the upward trend has caused the United States to end a number of import customs exemptions for third world and developing countries for Turkey in May 2019. The mentioned customs exemptions are specific to developing countries, which the United States has given to them to improve the economy of such countries.
In this regard, the Turkish government decided to build a finance center of Atasehir area of Istanbul in order to continue and accelerate the upward trend of economic growth. so that large domestic and international companies and financial institutions operate in this area. This financial center will act similar to the huge economic centers in New York, London, Singapore, Hong Kong. In order to attract foreign capital, the government has considered incentive plans to accelerate the attraction process.
In addition to the presence of a dynamic economy and incentive plans, a suitable area will be needed to build a finance center. After long studies, Atasehir region was proposed as the most prominent and suitable candidate for the implementation of this plan. Easy access to transportation routes, the high potential of the region, geographical location, etc., made the government of Atasehir choose the financial center of Turkey.
Finishing of Project of Finance Center of Istanbul
Now this huge project has been constructed in a land of 300 thousand square meters with an area of 3 million and 200 thousand square meters. At the same time, the private sector is also building various commercial centers around this huge project in an area of over 500,000 square meters. Almost all major financial centers of Turkey, including the Istanbul Stock Exchange (BIST), the Central Bank of Turkey (TCMB), the Center for Supervision of Banks and Financial Institutions of Turkey (BDDK), the centers of the largest banks in Turkey, including Ziraat Bank, Halk Bank Bank), Vakiflar Bank, İş GYO, TAO Gayrimenkul and many international credit institutions will take their place in this area.
In addition to the aforementioned institutions and financial centers, famous brands and chains of hotels, shopping centers, cultural centers, etc. will take their place in this project. So that more than 150 thousand people will work in this center and its surroundings. This huge commercial and financial center is located at the intersection of the two main highways E-5 and TEM. Also, for easier access, a special subway line is being built for this center.
Considering the above, it can be concluded that the Turkish government has opened a special account for this area.
In addition to these developments and developments in the Atasehir area of Istanbul, the presence of luxury residential and commercial towers, world-famous chain hotels, prominent shopping centers and various very modern entertainment complexes has turned this area into a small Singapore inside Istanbul.
